OVERVIEW
Officers are the leaders of the Army. They run from the front and adjust to environments that are forever shifting. 

To be an officer is to be honored as a Soldier and an inspiring leader — both inside the Army and its community. Officers earn this award because they’re prepared to enhance personal and professional growth of all whom they play and exercise with.
JOB DUTIES

  • Gain fast, successful decisions that focus on completing the commission
  • Lead from the front and adjust to environments that are always shifting
  • Command operations that combine armed companies on the battalion, brigade and division stories
  • Develop doctrine, systems and equipment for a diversity of charges
REQUIREMENTS
Those who desire to attend must first withdraw the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, a series of tests that helps you better realize your strengths and identify which Army jobs are best for you.
TRAINING
Officers receive training in career fields such as communication, personnel management, finance and logistics, develop leadership and problem-solving skills.
